Zurmo CRM certainly don’t let up on adding new features, and with the recently released Zurmo 2.0 there is much to talk about. As you may have seen, we recently confirmed that we are Zurmo’s first UK partners, so we have been very excited to see what they have been working on.
Version 2.0 has allowed integration with both Outlook and Exchange, introduced a marketing dashboard, product catalogues and even Kanban Views amongst much more. The image to right shows how the Kanban View not only looks great but has been successfully used within the opportunities module. Stafford McKay, Jr., Director of Marketing and Community Management for Zurmo stated how he felt “Adding Kanban boards to the Opportunities Module is kind of like spray painting a concrete wall at the Department of Motor Vehicles. Yes, it’s kind of naughty but it just feels right somehow.” It also shows how the aesthetic expectations of new generations entering the workplace are really being taken into account by the Zurmo team. The Kanban View allows opportunity stages to be automatically modified by dragging and dropping objects to the next level.
Another highlight is the Email Marketing now possible, this feature allows the user to do various things including; create segmented lists based on advanced reporting, design email templates and view charts displaying analytics on email data. These analytics can be seen in the image of the marketing dashboard and allow you to see exactly how your marketing efforts are doing. Working in real-time the analytics will be constantly updating allowing you too see the progress as it happens.
