Ramping up to THE BREAKOUT!

Today I realised there are just 7 weeks to go until our annual conference and I don’t want you to miss out.

Being a big fan of Andrzej Marczewski’s work I thought I’d quickly talk about the upcoming conference in terms of the RAMP framework (thanks):

1. Relatedness – this is the first opportunity for the gamification community to meet up in Europe in person since pre-COVID times. We have so many new experiences to share with each other, connections to rekindle and new ideas to spark.

2. Autonomy – this edition of the conference is designed to be very experiential and there’ll be plenty of choice as to what sort of experiences you want to take part in. With multiple tracks you can decide what you get out of attending, whether you want more play or networking or lurking.

3. Mastery – With the help of gamification author Betty Adamou we have sourced for you the best speakers, case studies and insights in our space today. This is going to be a superb way to level up your gamification knowledge and skills.

4. Purpose – Our theme is The Breakout! Set in an ex-prison our mission this time is to make you think differently about where, when and how gamification can be used. Come along with a problem and challenge our industry to help you solve it. We are all here to help make the world a better place through our passion for games and gamification.

Take a look at the conference website and schedule (as so far announced, loads more sessions being announced soon) and hope to see you in Utrecht, Netherland on 26-27 October!
