Company Profile

Mike Flannery started his Risk Management consultancy in 2008 and looks after more than 20 clients across the South of England. He provides safety and general risk management as well as working as an independent accident investigator.

Business Situation

Working on his own from an office in Angmering, West Sussex means that it is essential he be able to access all his client files whilst on the move and at very short notice. A practitioner for many years, he understood the need for a web-based solution to the problem of managing client records, files and the importance of being able to keep up to date and comprehensive notes.

He had previously used the eLink web-hosted CRM product from e-Advantage whilst employed elsewhere and his new circumstances made the decision to use e-Advantage a no-brainer. This was well demonstrated during a legal situation in 2006, where the ability to scan and store, as well as index and retrieve individual and groups of documents allowed him to produce a complete trail of communication that averted what may have been a costly claim.

Technical Situation

Unless Mike wanted to have a huge office filled with paper files, digital storage and management was the way to go. In addition, the need to be able to have calls and e-mails to be routed from his office to his mobile in real-time, coupled with a modern, efficient and user-friendly method of managing clients, diary and scheduling meant that a web-hosted solution was necessary.

Solution

At e-Advantage we fully support Mike and FRM by providing the broadband package that enables him to have a VoIP phone system. The VoIP phone system allows Mike to have an office number that has his mobile number as an extension, so if he isn’t in the office his mobile will ring and he will never miss a call.

Furthermore we provide Efficy CRM, which allows Mike to create client profiles containing all their contact details, emails, relevant documents, e-mail records and notes that he requires. We also host Mike’s email to ensure that everything integrates perfectly. Setup and any issues are dealt with swiftly using remote access which eliminates the need for expensive call-outs and ensures that the system is running at its optimum at all times.

Outcome

Mike is pleased with all the services we provide him with: Advanced Broadband, Efficy CRM, VoIP Phones and MS Exchange email hosting. They enable him to continually and efficiently meet his clients needs and expectations. Efficy CRM allows Mike to get details of his clients’ whilst on the move and keep his calendar up to date with everything he needs to do. Mike’s VoIP system now rings his mobile and office so no matter where he is calls to FRM will be answered. The broadband supplied is prioritised for his VoIP phone system even while any downloading or uploading that needs to take place. Mike feels it is an ideal solution for him as he can electronically keep tabs on everything that needs to be done.

“e-Advantage allows me to successfully manage twice as much as I could if I didn’t have it” Mike Flannery, CEO Foresight Risk Management LLP
