We are thrilled to announce that our client Care Friends has won an 2023 Future of Ageing Award for their innovative app that connects older adults with compassionate and reliable caregivers. Care Friends is an employee referral and engagement app that is transforming social care recruitment. Their app encourages care staff to share jobs with their friends and contacts straight from their mobiles and referrals hired through Care Friends have a retention rate double that of employees hired via job boards. The app also features a chat function, a feedback system, and a reward program that incentivizes caregivers to provide excellent service.

The Future of Ageing Awards are organized by the International Longevity Centre UK, a think tank that explores the impact of ageing on society and promotes policies that support healthy and productive ageing. The awards recognize organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the fields of health, social care, education, technology, and innovation for older people. Care Friends was selected as the winner in the category of Technology: Business category, beating other applicants from around the world.

Care Friends is an inspiring example of how technology can transform the lives of older people and their caregivers. Their app is not only a convenient and efficient tool, but also a source of connection, communication and community. We believe that Care Friends is making a positive difference in the world, and we are excited to see what they will achieve next.
