A date for your diary: The Business and Pleasure Summit

On Friday the 19th of April Brighton and Hove Chamber of Commerce will be putting on a major business event. The theme of the event is “doing business in a city built for pleasure”. The Business and Pleasure Summit is celebrating 100 years of the Brighton and Hove Chamber of Commerce and will be one of the biggest events put on in its history. You can expect to see thought-provoking speakers, panel debates, take part in discussions and benefit from some fantastic networking opportunities.

You will also experience some Brighton pleasure with a finale from the Fringe Cabaret, a pleasure hour and un-conferenced sessions where delegates will share skills. The un-conferenced sessions will last for around an hour and a half, during which time there will be no agenda. This will allow for responsive workshops, speeches and seminars to arise based on what people want to talk about. If there are topics that have arisen during the day that have not been explored fully then this will be the perfect opportunity to do so. It will allow for everyone at the summit to really drill down into the topic of the day “doing business in a city built for pleasure”.

You won’t be inside all day either, the pleasure hour will see you go off into the city to do something fun. The aim of this is to see how this can relate to your business and will be a new experience for everyone at the event! The summit really shouldn’t be missed, it will be a true celebration of Brighton, business and the chamber of commerce. You can expect to learn new things, meet new people, be entertained, be challenged AND have fun, surrounded by local like-minded people in a city built for pleasure. There’s not long left so its important you get your ticket as soon as you can!
